Judges Dominguez, Falls, Millington to Retire

By a MetNews Staff Writer

Three Los Angeles Superior Court judges—Juan Carlos Dominguez, Thomas Falls, and Scott T. Millington—will officially retire next month.

The last actual day on the bench for Dominguez and Falls was Friday, and Millington departed on April 4. They will use up earned vacation days before retiring.

Dominguez and Falls will each officially retire on May 9 and Millington will do so on May 15.

Then-Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger appointed Dominguez to the Superior Court in 2006, a year after he placed Millington there. Dominguez was a criminal defense attorney at the time of his appointment and Millington was a Los Angeles County deputy district attorney.

Falls, then a Los Angeles County deputy district attorney, was elected to the Citrus Municipal Court in 1996 and became a member of the Superior Court through court unification in 2000.

Dominguez has a law degree from Glendale University; Falls matriculated at Western State University School of Law; Millington’s law degree was earned at UCLA.
