Judge Yep to Retire July 15

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Brian C. Yep has set a July 15 retirement date, just 11 days shy of the 21st anniversary of his appointment.
Then-Gov Gray Davis placed him on the bench.
Yep, at the time, was a partner in the Lancaster law firm of Walsh, Delaney, and Yep. From 1987-93, he worked at the Lancaster firm of Kesler & Walsh.
His law degree is from the University of California at Davis.
Yep has been a supervising judge at the Lancaster Courthouse.
The judge was up for reelection this year but opted not to run.
