New Hampshire Governor Sununu Raps Newsom

Harsh words by New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu about his California counterpart were quoted on Friday by Jennifer Van Laar in her column on the website RedState.
She related that at the Reagan Foundation Institute in the District of Columbia on Thursday night, Sununu, a Republican, commented:
“Almost all the governors get along. In my eight years I can honestly tell you there’s literally been two, maybe a third but two real governors that really nobody liked, nobody cared for at all.”
Pressed to name names, Sununu termed former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, a Democrat, a “compete jackass,” and said of Democrat Gavin Newsom of California:
“[N]o one cares for Gavin. Gavin’s just a prick. Excuse me. He just is. It’s really disappointing.
“I got along with him—all of us got along with him for a while. But even the Democrats, they won’t tell you out loud, but behind closed doors they’re like, ‘Oh God, look who’s coming,’ and they all roll their eyes.”
