Dujan, Goldman Elected Commissioners
By a MetNews Staff Writer
Judges of the Los Angeles Superior Court have elected two attorneys as court commissioners, under a tally of votes on Friday.
As expected, the judges chose family law practitioner Sonia Dujan, second on the eligibility list compiled by a committee, and Amy Goldman, director of legal services at Community Legal Aid SoCal, third on the list. They elected Amanda Park, an attorney for the Los Angeles County Child Support Services Department who topped the list, on March 13.
Park’s law degree is from Loyola. Dujan and Goldman each earned theirs at the University of San Francisco. Certifying yesterday’s vote were Judges Gregory W. Alarcon, Ruth Ann Kwan, and Patti Jo McKay.
Next on the list is Deputy Public Defender Sarah Ellenberg.
