Mendoza Confirmed As Judge Of Ninth U.S. Circuit

The U.S. Senate yesterday confirmed Salvador Mendoza as a judge of the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on a 46-40 vote.
He has been a judge of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington since 2014 and was a judge of the Superior Court of the State of Washington for Benton and Franklin counties for a year before that. Mendoza will assume the seat held by Judge M. Margaret McKeown, who will go on senior status.
His law degree is from UCLA.
