Senate Conforms Cardona As State Bar Chief Trial Counsel

The California Senate has confirmed George Cardona as chief trial counsel for the State Bar.
Monday’s vote was 35-0, with five abstentions.
Cardona was an assistant U.S. attorney from 1991 to 2015, serving most of that time in the Central District of California, He is also a former Santa Monica city attorney.
The lawyer became a State Bar employee in October.
His law degree is from Yale.
