Times Makes Endorsements, LACBA Releases Ratings

The Los Angeles County Bar Association on Friday released its ratings of candidates for the Los Angeles Superior Court. Those ratings are of considerably less significance than they were some years ago when they heavily influenced newspaper endorsements.
The Times endorsed all three challenged incumbents on Tuesday and announced its choices for the four open seats on Wednesday.
No endorsement has yet been made by the MetNews for Offices 42 and 120, but recommendations as to other races have been made periodically.
