By a MetNews Staff Writer
The Los Angeles County Bar Association yesterday launched a web page for law students as part of its new law student outreach effort.
The Student Lounge, http://www.lacba.org/showpage.cfm?pageid=1736, will eventually feature a Jobs Registry, law firm profiles, area of practice profiles, California law student news, and articles on topics of relevance to students, LACBA said in a release.
The County Bar said it would also reach out to students by employing paid liaisons between the bar and various law schools, beginning with Loyola Law School, and by creating a law student list serve as “a hub for law students in California and abroad who intend to eventually practice in this state, and, specifically in Los Angeles County.”
