Laura B. Rieder Joins Los Angeles Firm Of Greines, Martin, Stein & Richland
By a MetNews Staff Writer
Laura B. Reider has joined the Los Angeles firm of Greines, Martin, Stein & Richland LLP as an associate.
Reider said yesterday she joined the firm, which primarily does appellate work, because she was looking for a “change of practice,” after two years doing employment law at Munger, Tolles & Olson.
She will be one of 20 attorneys at Greines Martin. Before joining Munger Tolles, she was a law clerk for Ninth U.S Circuit Court of Appeals Judge David R. Thompson, who is now a senior judge.
Reider holds a bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley, a master’s degree from the UC San Diego, and a law degree from UCLA, where she was the editor-in- chief of the UCLA Law Review. Reider told the MetNews she developed an interest in appellate law while clerking for Thompson.
