Thursday, Friday Schedules Vary for Courts, Offices
Courts and city, county, state and federal offices will close tomorrow for Thanksgiving, but some will reopen Friday on a limited basis.
The Los Angeles Superior Court and state appellate courts will be closed both tomorrow and Friday. The U.S. District Court for the Central District of California will be open Friday on a limited basis only, with court staff available to accept emergency filings. The Los Angeles County Law Library will be closed tomorrow but its downtown office at 301 W. First Street will be open Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The U.S. Postal Service will not make regular deliveries tomorrow but will resume service Friday.
The Metropolitan News-Enterprise will not be published tomorrow but will be published Friday.
