Lord, Bissell & Brook Expands Entertainment Law Office in Los Angeles

Lord, Bissell & Brook has added Arnold Peter to its Los Angeles office, where he will head the firm’s entertainment law practice.
Peter was formerly the vice president of Universal Studios’ legal and business affairs where he headed a 12-member legal team and helped coordinate the expansion of CityWalk, the theme park’s outdoor mall. Prior to Universal Studios, Peter was an assistant city attorney in Fresno.
At Lord Bissell, Peter represents a variety of clients in the entertainment, Internet, sports, new media and hospitality industries in litigation and transactions.
Peter has served as the chair of the State Bar of California’s Labor and Employment Section and Federal Courts Committee. He earned his law degree in 1984 from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles and his undergraduate degree from California State, Long Beach in 1981.
Lord Bissell was established in Chicago in 1914. The firm has 325 lawyers and 350 paralegals and supporting staff in offices in Atlanta, London, Los Angeles, Rockford, Ill., and New York.
