Alschuler Grossman Stein & Kahan Moving From Century City to Santa Monica

Big-time entertainment litigation firm Alschuler Grossman Stein & Kahan are moving from the Twin Towers in Century City to a bigger space at the Water Garden on 26th Street and Olympic Avenue in Santa Monica, the firm reported yesterday.

When the move is completed July 1 of this year, the firm will become the largest in Santa Monica.

Having nearly doubled in size within the last two years, AGSK is the fourth largest Los Angeles county firm of those firms with one office, according to a press release.

Dana Levitt, the firm’s managing partner, told the METNEWS that this growth prompted the move.

“We think both Santa Monica and Century City are nice places,” Levitt said. “But the firm could not secure an expansion space in Century City.”

Levitt said Santa Monica is a great place for the firm since they are a Westside practice with a significant entertainment practice.

The firm’s success in the last 10 years has slated them for an 85,000 square foot office subleased from Turner Broadcasting.

The new building will have state of the art video conferencing and a moot courtroom designed to allow both real and mock trials, with a witness box, jury box and elevated bench for a judge, Levitt said.
