By a MetNews Staff Writer
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Paul Boland has had his assignment to Div. Seven of this district’s Court of Appeal extended through Nov. 30.
Boland has been sitting on the panel since Feb. 21. Chief Justice Ronald M. George extended the assignment in May, and has now extended it again.
Div. Seven has had a vacancy since Feb. 9 when Justice Richard Neal retired.
Boland is one of 10 candidates currently being considered to fill vacancies on this district’s Court of Appeal. (See story on Page 1.)
Boland, 59, was appointed to the Los Angeles Superior Court by then-Gov. Jerry Brown in 1981. He was then associate dean and a professor of law at UCLA.
He is married to Judge Margaret Morrow of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
